United Airlines Boeing 777-200 (New First & Biz)

Comments

United Airlines was originally scheduled to begin converting the Boeing 777-200 fleet to this new configuration in late 2009, but delays have pushed the scheduled start date to February 2010. A conversion update chart is maintained on FlyerGuide.com. The chart displays the total number of conversions completed on all United Airlines aircraft, even going so far as to identify the tail numbers of the aircraft that have been updated.

United appears to have hit a home run with this plane's Business Class, offering a true 180 degrees lie-flat bed. This product significantly outclasses all other US airlines' international offerings, and closely matches the world's higher ranked Business Class products such as those by British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and Singapore Airlines.

Featuring AVOD (Audio Video On Demand) in First and Business Class, along with 110V AC power outlets, this will be a favorite of business travelers. Economy Plus and Economy passengers also have individual video screens, but without AVOD.
