SeatExpert was launched in 2002 by Huey Lee and his son Alex. Lee's career required extensive airline travel at the time and he soon realized that nowhere on the Web could he find the kind of detailed airplane seat map information he desired. Developed as a father-son project, SeatExpert was created with an eye to detail. Where possible, every window is precisely mapped, every distance accurately measured, and every attention paid to the little things that make the difference between a pleasant flight and an unbearable one.
Several years later, SeatExpert has grown to include seat maps for over 50 of the world's top airlines ... over 300 detailed seat maps in all!
In 2008, SeatExpert joined the Frequent Flyer Network of sites, which also include such popular sites as FlyerTalk, WebFlyer and InsideFlyer. The Frequent Flyer Network was founded by Randy Petersen. Petersen has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, and is one of the world's leading experts on the subject of frequent travel.
Though SeatExpert has grown from a father-son project into one of the leading airplane seat information sites on the Internet, the Lee family still supply the expertise that make the site among the leading sources of information for travelers who want to maximize their in-flight experience.
