Delta Air Lines
MD88
(Shuttle)
Comments
The MD88 plane is usually used on short routes and is configured with a single class of service with very generous 34 to 36 inches of pitch, the most pitch of any domestic coach product. It is not equipped with audio or video entertainment equipment. The pair of seats on the right side are usually preferred since there is no middle seat.
Note that the rear of the plane is quite noisy due to the engines being mounted adjacent to the fuselage at the tail.
