Comments

Delta is the world's largest operator of Boeing 767s, with about 100 in its fleet. However, Delta along with Continental are the only airlines flying the Boeing 767-400. Delta configured this plane with two classes of service, with more seats than any other plane Delta currently flies. This configuration is used on routes such as Atlanta to Hawaii, as well as U.S. to Europe during the peak summer months.

This plane has standard domestic First Class seats. The middle section of seats are most desirable, since they have direct aisle access and there is no need to climb over someone to get to the aisle. Delta has announced plans to upgrade around eight of the First Class cabins in these Boeing 767-400s to International Business Elite. Before the conversion is completed, many of these planes are being used on European routes and First Class seats are being sold as Economy Class. If you are a Delta Elite frequent flyer, you will be given one of these First Class seats at coach price.

Economy Class on this plane is reasonably comfortable, since the vast majority of seats are either window or aisle, with only one out of seven seats being a middle seat. There have been reports that the last couple of rows have slightly tighter seats due to the curvature of the fuselage.

In-flight entertainment consists of personal seat monitors in First Class and overhead screens in Economy Class.
