Note: This is a preliminary version of the seatmap for Singapore Airlines' Airbus A340-500 plane. Color-coding is complete, and we are collecting information to program the dynamic comments.

All Business Class configured plane for long-haul trans-Pacific routes between Singapore and Los Angeles and New York. Each seat has direct aisle access, without anyone climbing over you, and offers a wide full-flat bed, plus AVOD (Audio Video On Demand) and universal 110V power outlet at every seat.

Many passengers does not know that as the seatback is flipped forward to form a bed, they will notice an intrusion next to their head. This intrusion is due to the foot-well of the seat behind, and takes up about 40% of the width of the bed at the head and shoulder area. Sleeping at a slight diagonal provides you with the longest sleeping surface, with your feet in the footwell intrusion ahead of you.
