The Boeing 747-400 planes are used mostly on Air China's international routes for passengers and cargo. The Boeing 747-400 (744) Combi-Cargo offers three classes of service, but with 100 fewer seats in Coach than the all-passenger version of the Boeing 747-400, which are replaced by cargo in the back of the plane.

Note that Air China is slowly introducing their new First and Business Class seats in the Boeing 747-400s and this seat map shows the older generation seats.
