Boeing 737-800
(Version 738)
Comments
The Boeing 737-800 is the workhorse of the Delta fleet, used on most domestic routes. Powerports are available in First Class, and being installed in the first ten rows of Economy Class.Beginning in October 2007, Delta started installing individual monitors with AVOD (Audio Video On Demand) in First Class, and has plans to refit the economy cabin of all 737-800s with AVOD as well. The planes that have been refitted are usually labeled with a 73H designator code, and those that are yet to be refitted are usually labeled with a 738 designator code.
There are reports that all rows behind the emergency overwing exits have slightly less pitch than those in the forward part of the coach cabin.
