Comments

The Boeing 747-400 is used primarily on Delta's international routes, and offers two classes of service.

Delta is in the process of reconfiguring the BusinessElite class in all of its Boeing 747-400 and once complete all of the aircraft will be in this configuration, featuring fully lie-flat seating. Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) and AC power outlets are available for each BusinessElite seat.

Delta is also in the process of adding Economy Comfort seating, which features up to an additional four inches of legroom and increased recline, on many of its long haul flights. On Delta's Boeing 747-400s that have been reconfigured, rows 22-26 are the Economy Comfort rows. These seats require an additional fee to book, though that fee is waived/reduced for elite members of Delta's frequent flyer program. Be aware that due to the increased recline offered in Economy Comfort, seats in row 27 are potentially poor choices.
