Singapore Airlines Singapore Airlines
Airbus A340-500 - Retired
Comments
Note: Singapore Airlines has replaced this configuration of the Airbus A340-500 with an All-Business class lay-out, serving routes between Singapore and the US. This seat map is maintained here for historical reference.Singapore Airlines uses the Airbus A340-500 plane for the longest scheduled passenger service flight in the world, traveling between the New York city area and Singapore on a nonstop flight taking about 18 hours.
Configured in two classes of service, even coach passengers have as much room as most domestic First Class seats. There are also dedicated passenger areas for stretching your legs to improve circulation, and grabbing an in-flight snack.
In-flight entertainment is provided by the KrisWorld AVOD (Audio Video On Demand) entertainment system, giving all passengers their personal choice of in-flight entertainment.
