This version of the Alitalia Airbus A319 has a convertible cabin layout for flexibility in accommodating different numbers of First-class passengers.

In the most common configuration, the first three to four rows are used as Optima class. Any seat in these rows, up to row 8, are excellent choices if you have an economy-class ticket.

Do keep in mind that when these rows are used for economy class, the middle 'B" and 'E" seats are converted back to passenger use. Due to the construction and design, there are more seams and less padding in these middle seats, making them less comfortable, with the only benefit of the slightly increased legroom.
