Comments
The middle seats "B" and "E" while physically there, are not used for passengers, but rather folded down to serve as a tray table between the window and aisle passengers in Business class. This also means there is slightly more elbow room due to the unoccupied middle seat.In the most common configuration, the first three to five rows are used as Club Europe Business class. The rows immediately behind are sold as standard Economy class seats, even though they still have the slightly increased legroom at 34 inches. Any seat in these rows, up to row nine, are excellent choices if you have an economy-class ticket.
Do keep in mind that when these rows are used for economy class, the middle 'B" and 'E" seats are converted back to passenger use. Due to the construction and design, there are more seams and less padding in these middle seats, making them less comfortable, with the only benefit of the slightly increased legroom.
Also note that the middle seat on the row immediately behind the movable divider is never sold, so knowledgeable passengers will ask the gate agents to move them to this first row if possible.
