Boeing 737-800
(Version 2)
Comments
The Boeing 737-800 is the second largest plane in Alaska's fleet, most of the rest being various smaller models of the Boeing 737 family. With only seven Boeing 737-800s in its fleet, it is interesting that Alaska flies three slightly different versions. They are basically interchangeable with each other, with the exception that version 2 is the only one with row 13. It is fortunate that on all three versions, row 14 is the first exit row with restricted recline and row 15 is the desirable row with very good legroom and full recline.
Alaska is planning to offer complimentary handheld DigEplayer video entertainment systems in First Class and for rent for $10 in Coach.
