Comments

WestJet uses only Boeing 737s in its fleet, with over 50 of them in three different models, for different seat capacity. All of the planes are configured in a single class of service, and more than 85% of the WestJet fleet has leather seats and live seatback television.

The Boeing 737-700 is the middle size plane in WestJet's fleet, with a passenger capacity of 136. WestJet configured all of their Boeing 737-700's with a slightly above average 32 inches of pitch.

You will most likely notice the tall blended winglets at the end of the wings. Not only do these winglets give the plane a very distinctive look, they also increase lift, improve fuel efficiency, lower emissions and reduce engine maintenance costs, which directly lead to lower operating cost. These are some of the many reasons that airlines such as WestJet and Southwest have decide to invest in these optional winglets.
