Comments
There are currently four of these very long range Airbus A340-500 planes in Thai's fleet, normally deployed on the Los Angeles LAX - Bangkok route with about a 15-16-hour flight time. AVOD (Audio Video On Demand) is available in all seats giving every passenger their personalized choice of in-flight entertainment. 110VAC universal outlets are available at every seat.Business Class has slanted lie-flat sleeper seats, and most passengers prefer the center pair since each seat has direct aisle access.
Premium Economy has very good pitch at 42 inches, which is better than most domestic First Class seats. Leg rests, 9" LCD screens, as well as a wide armrest makes for a comfortable flight.
Economy Class also has very good legroom at a 36 inch pitch, along with footrests and 8.4" LCD screens. Most people prefer the pair of seats along the fuselage since there is no middle seat.
