Comments

Note: Cathay Pacifc is rumored to retire this plane from their fleet, due to dispatch reliability and fuel consumption issues. This aircraft is expected to be out of the fleet around October 2008, and the seatmap is maintained here for historical reference.

This is the longest commercial airliner in the world, with long-range capability, as well as a large amount of cargo storage space under the floor. They typically serve ultra long-haul routes and can operate throughout the year nonstop from Hong Kong to the East Coast of the U.S. or anywhere in Western Europe.

Cathay's entire fleet is equipped with personal video screens at every seat, featuring Studio CX, Cathay's In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system. There are more than 20 video channels in all classes, plus AVOD (Audio/Video On Demand) service on 10.4" screens for First and Business Class passengers on all long-haul flights.

Beware that power ports are reported to only be available in the first few rows in the Coach cabin, we are currently unable to confirm the actual rows with power ports available.
