I'm looking at AA's 767-300 to Barcelona. I have an obese client who I selling 2 seats to, if and only if, the arm rests go all the way back. Can you confirm?

I am sorry that we do not keep track of the recline angle of the arm-rest. The majority of armrests do not recline ”all the way back” as you inquired. They tend to be slightly above the surface of the seatback, even with the seatback in the most-upright position. When the seatback is reclined, the armrest will definitely be in the way.

Perhaps it might be an opportunity to upsell your client into a Business class seat. Unfortunately, on 763s with 2-2-2 configuration in Business class, the seats are only a little more than an inch wider, so two coach seats are probably going to provide more width, despite the problem with the protruding arm-rest.
