Q&A with the Seat Expert

I’m buying a new wheeled business briefcase. What is the maximum width I should buy to wheel it down the coach aisle on NWA A320 and 757? I’m looking at one that is 17″ wide.

I live on the Big Island in Hawaii. Alaska Airlines now flies into KOA and they use a Boeing 757, but I don’t see this particular airplane listed w/ Alaska Airlines. Can you update so I may view seating.

Information for Singapore A380 suites 3A and 3F are good seats as they are the only suites that offer best viewing with 3 windows vs. two in every other suite.

What are the best chance of a upgrade when flying coach T or Q?

I was able to secure seat assignments on an outward flight but am unable to do so for the return flight. I have seats but no assignments. How could I go about securing seats for the return flight.

American used to advertise that their seat pitch on the 767 was greater than standard (I’m assuming 34″). Is this still true?

Hi guys, great site which I use frequently. I’m booking a complex trip which will probably include MH30 and/or MH31 between KUL and DXB. Malaysian operate their A330s on these sectors.

Can I just double check what I think my research is telling me – that Malaysian has not installed sleepers on its A330 fleets and these are ‘old school’ business class seats not comparable to the ones MH uses on 747 and 777 services? I ask as both these sectors are overnight.

I’m about to book my seats on Thomas Cook A330 323. The front seats available are 12 a,b,c,d. Would it be better to sit right at the back where there are two * 2 seats?

I am wanting to bring my pet on my next trip, and I am trying to figure out the dimensions of the underseat storage for a Continental 737-700. I’ve checked the website and found two different dimensions for pet carriers (hard and soft). Of course, none of the pet carriers I find match those dimensions exactly.
