We are 4 persons travelling with a child on Virgin Atlantic (Mumbai-Heathrow). Can you please suggest good seats together with one window seat?

VS’s flight #351 is scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 747-400: http://seatexpert.com/seatmap/358/Virgin_Atlantic_Boeing_747-400_(Heathrow_-_Version_3)/

I assume that the four persons in your traveling party includes the child, in which case, perhaps requesting the center block of four seats might be a good idea. If your kid is bassinet age, then  40DEFG would be a good choice. You should have:
  • A bit more legroom
  • No seat in front of you to recline into you
  • No underseat storage in front of you
  • Trays in non-moveable arm-rests, making the seats feel slightly narrower
  • Video screens most likely on the end of swingarms
  • Lavatory is just in front, you will notice more traffic and noise
If there are actually four people PLUS one kid, then you might want to consider taking the seats along the fuselage. One row of three, and another row of Window and Aisle seat. By not requesting the middle seat on the second row, you are gambling that the middle seat remains empty. If the seat is actually occupied, you can always ofter to exchange either the window or aisle seat for the middle seat, so that your party of two is seated together.
