I have heard that since Continental 757-200s were fitted with AVOD, equipment boxes under the seats in economy can restrict legroom. Can you advise me which seats (A-F) in each economy row have a box underneath them.
This took a bit of detective work, but we believe that the aisle seats are the most affected. The main change is the width of the underseat area, now it is reportedly only 8-10 inches wide. The box is a wide plastic and metal affair, and appears to be at every row. There is also the normal narrower box under the middle seats, leaving only the window seats unaffected.
